Notes on Tea received several tea items for Christmas 2009. Thank you family!
The Trudeau silicone tea infuser with lid was given by an aunt- and uncle-in-law who always give artsy gifts. I have not used the infuser feature as yet but have used the lid when steeping two other gifts: Bag Ladies Tea O, Christmas Tea! and Harney & Sons Herbal Peppermint.
I received the tisane from a sister-in-law. She chose well. The Harney & Sons Peppermint is packaged in individual silk sachets, a sophisticated presentation. The tea itself is the best mint tea I've drank. Minty; not the fake-mint flavor of other bagged mint tisanes.
The O, Christmas Tea was gifted along with the tea infuser. It is English Breakfast tea. Warm; perfect for a cold day. I spent Christmas in the Boston area so was excited to learn that Bag Ladies Tea is located in Allston, Massachusetts. I like that part of my Christmas booty supported a local business.
